Regional Partnerships
Our lab is part of the Northern Network for Empirical Music Research (NEMuR), which comprises a group of academics and postgraduate students from 8 universities in the North of England who meet twice per year to discuss research and teaching practices in music psychology and empirical music research.
International Partnerships
Erich von Hornbostel Audio Emergence Lab (HAEL), Humboldt University, Berlin
This partnership offers students of music cognition in Durham and HAEL opportunities for discussion and collaboration, via virtual conferences and exchanges (see blog post about one of these exciting student collaboration opportunities here). In addition, several joint research projects and workshops have been undertaken by HAEL and Durham staff.
