We are interested in understanding the relationship between music and the experience of ‘mind-wandering’ or ‘daydreaming’. In particular, we investigate the content and features of mind-wandering episodes evoked while listening to music and experiences of ‘musical mind-wandering’ in the form of spontaneous musical imagery, or ‘earworms’.
